O CANADA! Callum Booth Wins Gold Representing Canada at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka U-18 Tournament!
Congratulations to all the members of the U-18 Team Canada squad for bringing home the gold medal and proving, once again, why Canada is the home of the greatest young hockey players in the world!
Rising QMJHL star Callum Booth, starting netminder for the Quebec Remparts, was one of two goalies selected by Hockey Canada to represent the nation at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka U-18 Tournament in Slovakia this past summer.
Despite only playing one game in the tournament, Callum made sure that QMJHL teams remember his name by posting a 1.00 Goals Against Average and a .923 Save Percentage to secure a 5-1 victory over the host Slovakia team.
Callum gave the Hockey world a small taste of what’s to come this season, as he gets set to lead the Remparts to their first Memorial Cup appearance since 2006.
