Chapter 1 Complete

Wednesday, May 10th 2017 was a historic night for the CEM family. Callum Booth, Boko Imama, Samuel Dove-Mcfalls and the St. John Sea Dogs won the Presidents Cup in dramatic fashion, sweeping the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, and closing the first chapter of the CEM story.

The “Big 3” all had exceptional playoffs, each playing a pivotal role in the Sea Dogs success this season.

Callum Booth was the starting goalie for the Sea Dogs and led the league in Goals Against Average among goalies with a 1.67 GAA in the playoffs. Booth was nearly impossible to beat in the playoffs, recording a .923 save percentage and four shutouts, a league high. Booth kept a shutout streak in the final series consisting of 8 and a half periods before letting in a goal, putting on an incredible performance.

Boko Imama was on the Sea Dogs first line throughout the playoffs. Boko played in 18 playoff games scoring eight goals and 15 points. Boko scored a huge goal in game 4 of the finals, putting the Sea Dogs on the board to make it 1-0, which led them to win the championship.

Samuel Dove-Mcfalls had a massive impact on the Sea Dogs victory, as he recorded five goals and 12 points throughout the playoffs. Sam was the hero in game 3 of the finals, scoring both of the Sea Dogs goals in a 2-0 win over the Armada, putting the Sea Dogs up 3-0 in the series.
