Newly drafted member of the Rimouski Oceanic, Hunter Moreau, cracked Team Canada’s lineup for the U-17 World Junior Hockey Challenge. The tournament is scheduled to be played in Sarnia and Lambton Shores, Ontario from November 2nd to November 7th, 2014 and will feature three Canadian teams, namely Black, Red, and White, to compete against some of the best young players in the world. Some notable members of Team Canada’s coaching staff include Quebec’s very own former NHLers, Donald Audette and Joel Bouchard.

Hunter is really excited about the opportunity to compete for Hockey Canada at the international level for the first time. After being drafted 38th overall by the Rimouski Oceanic in this year’s draft, we have no doubt that this will only be one of Hunter’s many achievements throughout his promising hockey career.
